PTS
provides our service to stable patients. EMS is primarily for
emergencies and are usually unable to transport non-emergency
patients because of the huge demand for their services. We do
not provide emergency transportation.
PTS maintains insurance for Public Liability and property damage
on all of its vehicles in an amount of five million dollars
($5,000,000), as well as professional liability coverage in the
amount of five million dollars ($5,000,000) for any possible claims
arising from any care or treatment rendered. PTS is
proud to state that since the company’s beginning, we have never had
a professional liability claim. Strict policies and
procedures, along with total professionalism are factors that make
up another type of “guarantee” that your trip will be a safe one.

PTS is very conscientious about its on-going quality
assurance initiatives. One main tool for ensuring client
satisfaction is to survey each client. This questionnaire
covers a number of topics including care and treatment given,
professionalism and compassion shown, cleanliness of the
vehicle, and other questions that gauge the patient's level of
satisfaction. PTS directs the survey form to the
hospital to guarantee the integrity of the process. The
hospital administration meets with us monthly or quarterly to
review the feedback from patients and from hospital personnel.
For clients who utilize our patient transfer service to take
them to a nursing home or have been discharged to private
residence, PTS
does a phone survey follow up to ensure that the highest standard
of care has been given.
